Stop calling them the Big, Bad Bruins. Except for Chara they aren’t that big, and they’re actually a super-talented team, not a bunch of thugs. And can we just stop talking about Chara’s height? I get it, he’s really, really tall.
Tazer and Kaner are playing just fine. They had 5 and 7 shots on goal respectively on Wednesday, their Corsi ratings are something ridiculous like plus a bazillion and they’re playing good defense. They are “showing up,” the team is winning, and I don’t care if it’s them or Andrew Shaw’s shin pad putting the puck in the net.

Seriously, Chicago, don’t start acting like Philly. I’m delighted that the Blackhawks won, but I’m even more delighted that the Wild gave them a good game.
